More than just a dance competition, Nationals is a celebration of each dancer’s hard work, growth, and dedication throughout the year.

NATIONALS RULES
All general rules and regulations apply to both regionals and national events. Please see competition rules and regs tab for full details.

You MUST compete at one regional event to attend a national's event. If you are unable to attend a regional with an excused reason (distance, schedule conflicts, etc.) then we will allow you to attend the national's event as a whole If approved by DPC.

If a routine was bumped a level at regionals they must compete at the higher level at nationals.
​
The convention classes are required for all dancers to compete at the DPC nationals.
​
Tickets are required for prospects to attend the Dynamic Duels on the last day of nationals. Please contact us for ticket pricing.

Title division:
- Current national title holders are not eligible to compete for title in consecutive years. They are invited the following year to perform at the Dynamic Duels as well as crown the new title winners. Title holders are still eligible to compete in the regular competition.
- Dancers who register for title will go through an interview process with the judges on Sunday.
- Dancers in title are scored on the convention class portion.
- Dancers will compete their title solos Sunday night.
- Age divisions are the same as our regular ones. Please see above for details.
- Titles are not broken up by levels. All levels will compete with their age group.
- If a dancer wants to compete their solo for title and overalls, they have to register separate for both.​

NATIONALS EVENT INFO
DAY 1
Day 1 kicks off with an exciting full day of convention classes, featuring a variety of styles including technique, tap, jazz, contemporary, and hip hop. The day will also include title interviews and the title competition. If necessary for scheduling purposes, portions of the regular competition may begin on this day as well.

DAY 2 & 3
Day 2 & 3 are dedicated to full competition days with adjudications, dynamic duel invitations, costume and entertainment awards and improv competitions for both the parents and the dancers! We also have a PJ party at the end of day 2 filled with games, dancing, ice cream and more! The entire DPC staff will be there to celebrate and spend time with everyone.

DAY 4
Day 4 is the most exciting day for our dancers! The day begins with the Dynamic Duel Competition, where the top ten groups in the 12 & Under and 13 & Over divisions go head-to-head for the Dynamic Duel title. We then gather for a beautiful dinner banquet featuring a special Q&A session with the DPC staff. The event concludes with our Awards Gala, where all titles, high scores, and overall awards are presented to celebrate the incredible accomplishments of the week.
